Borderlands. This game is not your everyday action role playing game (RPG). It is not your typical first person shooter game either.
After playing the game for a little bit I knew I had a really great game at hand.
You are first sent to a country called Pandora, where your mission is to help unlock answers and figure out why their country fell apart.
Not only is the story line interesting, the game is packed with side missions to accomplish.
The story is very long and it took me about 45 to 50 hours to finish the game and complete every mission.
Most people are amazed at how long I played the game but it went by fast and was worth the time.
My motivation to keep playing the game was the advancing levels and always improving game play.
Each time you play the game gets harder and the weapons get more advanced. Even if you complete the first mission, you can go back through and play it again but it becomes more difficult.
This is a great game by itself, but what is really intriguing is the online play.
You can have up to four people in your party, and you have the option to choose from either one of the four characters.
The idea behind it was to have more people play together to fight the enemies and complete the game.
Each one of these characters is different and brings something to the game.
I played as Roland. His special move was to have a turret that you could launch at anytime.
The other person in my party played as Mordecai. His special move was to be able to deploy a bird to help fight enemies in the area.
Some things setting this game from other RPG’s is the graphics.
The game has a lot of gory graphics, but the quality is really sharp.
The game developers wanted to give you a different style of game play.
The opponent you come across looks like mutune a beast of animals today.
Humans also inhabitat the land of Pandora. These humans are all psychos and go crazy at the site of you coming.
The bosses that are on each part of Pandora, all have different characteristics and have crazy antics.
The game shows great detail when people are shot and killed. The blood splattering is really intense.
When you start to die you have the opportunity to be able to resurrected from the dead. This helps when you are playing with a partner because of the large amounts of enemies that you come accross in the game.
Borderlands is a really good game to play and has had good reviews.
On ign.com, it was rated an 8.8 out of 10. Also, on teamxbox.com it received a 9.0 out of 10.
The game is worth the hours and will live up to be a fun and entertaining RPG.
I give it a 9.0 out of 10 because of the graphics, but wishe it had a little more customization in it.
